Curl Moncton’s Team Forsythe, with skip Melodie Forsythe, third Carly Smith, second Vanessa Roy, lead Caylee Smith, alternate Deanna MacDonald and coach Tim Forsythe, captured the women’s title in the Papa John’s U21 Provincial Curling Championship last weekend at the Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club in Saint John. The team will be heading to Langley, BC, to compete at the 2020 New Holland Canadian Junior Curling Championship from January 18-26. Matt Magee, also a member of Curl Moncton and in his last year as a junior, will also compete at the Junior Curling Championship as a member of Team Marin (TSA, Saint John), the winners of the men’s division of the Papa John’s U21 Provincial Curling Championship.
